About us

Open Metal Album Library is an independent metal music fan project founded by a Romanian individual. All content is available free of charge, without registration or advertising. The website generates no revenue and sells no products or services.

We publish original, in-depth album reviews, research into album history and separately identified literary interpretations. These writings are not commercially published books or official releases endorsed by bands or labels.

Album artwork and copyright

Original album covers are presented to identify the albums and to support critical discussion of the music and, where relevant, the cover art itself. Rights in artwork, logos and other third-party creations remain with their respective creators and rights holders.

Sources and artwork credits are given where they can be reliably identified. Being non-commercial and providing credit do not alone grant permission to reproduce a copyrighted work. A suitable permission or applicable legal exception must be assessed for each use.

Rights-holder enquiries

If you are a rights holder or authorized representative and have a concern about an image or other content, please contact [email protected]. Please identify the page URL and the material concerned.

We review such notices promptly and, when warranted, temporarily disable or remove the material. This process does not replace copyright requirements or restrict the rights holder’s legal remedies.
